Published by the Mesdag Panorama and International Panorama Council to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the Mesdag Panorama, this book briefly describes the history and technique of the panorama and provides a selection of twenty examples. The book also links to contemporary art with new painted, digital or virtual panoramas. It forms part of the Panorama Project, set up in 2004, designed to record panoramas in digital format around the world.
