Daguerre's last diorama painting in Paris; a report by Jennifer Utteridge on the Society's spring meeting on 12 April 2008 in Birmingham; accounts of the Palais des Mirages in Paris by John Alexander and the Movieum of London by Jeremy Fisher; the early cinematographer Walter R. Booth by John Barnes and 'Webchat' by Mark Butterworth, plus a review of 'The Haunted Gallery' by Lynda Nead and an obituary for Richard Altick, author of 'The Shows of London' about entertainments in the capital between 1600 and 1862. Part 2 is the minutes of the business part of the Society's spring meeting on 12 April. Part 3 is the agenda for the Society's summer meeting on 19 July in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.
