Personal account of working with Akira Kurosawa, written by his script supervisor Teruyo Nogami, who collaborated with the Japanese director for almost fifty years from Rashomon in 1950 until Kurosawa's death in 1998. Her memoirs give an intimate insight into Kurosawa's personality and working methods, and are illustrated with her own sketches as well as black and white photographs.
