Today, the first day of Harrods Summer Sale, TWIGGY went along to the Knightsbridge store to present a petition signed by a number of eminent people from many fields. The petition asks Harrods, the prestige store, to stop the sale of luxury or frivolous goods made from wild animal products. Many articles are made from skins or products of endangered animals. The petition was organised by the Knightsbridge Committee, a group of people of such organisations as Friends of the Earth, the Hunt Saboteurs and the RSPCA.
