This book, released for sale on 25 September 1915, was the first ever to be published on the rising star Charlie Chaplin, and contains a series of short comical stories as well as such gems as the Charlie Chaplin ABC. It was written by Draycot M. Dell and illustrated by Bertie Brown and Philip Swinnerton. It was a huge success and was closely followed by The Charlie Chaplin fun book (item 42886) on 23 October 1915.
