'Disney Dons Dogtags' by Walton Rawls is a compilation of all of the known wartime insignia found on American servicemen's planes, tanks, ships, and other vehicles used to keep up the morale of servicemen during World War II. Disney not only created insignia, but also made training films for the Army and produced advertisements to help promote the sale of war bonds. Over 1,200 different insignia were created and also used overseas by Allied units from Britain, Free France, and Free Poland.
