Issue No. 13 (December 1993) of journal "1895: Association francaise de recherche sur l'histoire du cinema" featuring a study of the "Blum-Byrnes Agreement" - which regulated the distribution of American films in post-war France and gave French films a monopoly in cinemas at certain times - drawn up by Leon Blum and James F. Byrnes after WWII. The journal contains two smaller articles - on silent actress Asta Nielsen and on the increasing ength of French films as well as notes and book reviews.
