Includes images/artefacts of the Exeter cinemas: Exeter Palladium from the 1920s, the construction and opening of the Exeter Picturehouse in 1996, the Plaza Cinema in the 1930s (Marquee showing 'Go Into Your Dance' (1935) billed as 'Casino de Paree', advertisements for Grand Hotel (1932) & M (1931), Exeter Hippodrome, the closing and destruction of the Savoy Cinema, gravestone commemorating the "more than 160 persons who perished in the fire at the Exeter Theatre" and Bombardier F. Scattergood who tried to save them (5 September 1887), the Theatre Royal, the destruction of the Victoria Hall.
