Autobiography by actor Ron Moody, looking back on a 50 year career that began in 1952 but took off in 1960 when he began playing Fagin in the West End musical 'Oliver!' Moody reprised the role in the 1968 film, and the book reminiscences about his most famous role as well as his time as a postgraduate student at the LSE, his work in theatres all over the UK and his views on the acting profession. Drawing on diaries kept since he was 16, the memoir is idiosyncratic in style and structure.
