Research concerning the panorama: 'The Capture and Taming of Wild Elephants on the Island of Ceylon'. Painted by William Daniell's (WM Daniell), exhibited in 1825 at the Room of the Society of Painters in Watercolours, in 121 Pall Mall East. Includes notes taken from The Times 5 August 1835 and 17 June 1836 in which the panorama is called 'Panorama of Hunting Wild Elephants' and photocopied pages 80-1 from The Daniells in Southern and Western India which also refers to his 'Panorama of Madras' (69530). Lastly, a photocopied program titled 'Elephant Hunting' (69531/9).
