Large and richly-illustrated folio volume chronicling the making of the seven Harry Potter films, beginning with the first discussions about adapting the (as yet unpublished) manuscript by first-time writer JK Rowling and then charting the development of the various processes such as casting, visualising the material, producing artwork and costumes, constructing the sets for places including Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, as well as creating the fantastic creatures, mechanical gadgets and other special effects. The behind-the-scenes material includes interviews with the young actors whose lives were reshaped through their involvement in the franchise over the following decade.
