Small sheaf of typed and handwritten notes compiled by Peter Jewell during his brief period as a teacher around 1955. including two dozen short essays by Fourth Form pupils at Belmont College, Barnstaple, recording their views about cinema going e.g. the sort of films they like, how they view the cinema experience, their response to films watched recently, as well as some broader opinions about whether cinema has more potential to be a good or bad influence on children. Films referred to include The Dam Busters, The Living Desert, The Greatest Show on Earth, Seagulls over Sorrento, Peter Pan, Yellow Tomahawk and Abbot & Costello Meet the Mummy.
