De Tweeling EPK

The CD is in a plastic case with a clear front. There is a paper insert containing information on the CD with a label on the back stating "De Tweeling (Twin Sisters) Stills from Film, Stills from Director". The CD itself is labelled with the same information. The images are largely of the film's stars, Thekla Reuten, Nadja Uhl, Ellen Vogel, and Gudrun Okras as well as the film's director, Ben Sombogaart. The film tells of twin sisters who are torn apart by bickering relatives and who grow in very different economic and social circumstances. Set against the Holocaust and World War Two, their relationship undergoes many challenges and stresses, eventually leading to their final meeting as old women. It was a nominee for Best Foreign Film at the 76th Academy Awards. It caused minor controversy by its depiction of one of the twin's involvement with the Nazis but was shown successfully in Israel and well-reviewed by the Jewish Chronicle.
