A promotional postcard for the BFI curated season 'Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!' which took place at the BFI Southbank between 28 October - 30 December 2011. Featuring an image of Gene Kelly dancing on the side of a lamp post in 'Singin' in the Rain' (1952) alongside other silhouetted dancers and stage lights, the season celebrated the musicals of MGM and featured screenings of films like 'Singin' in the Rain', 'The Wizard of Oz' (1939), 'An American in Paris' (1951), 'Meet Me in St Louis' (1944) and more. The rear side of the card features booking information, including a 3 for 2 offer on films in the season, and the MGM slogan 'More stars than there are in heaven'.
