Movie Icons: Monroe

Collection of film stills, production shots, magazine articles and posters from the films of Marilyn Monroe, published in the Movie Icons series. After a brief introduction, "Marilyn Monroe: Enchantress", by F.X. Feeney, the images are arranged chronologically in a 'visual filmography' that covers her career from early modelling portraits and bit-parts as Norma Jean in the late 1940s through a series of musicals, technicolour comedies and serious dramas until her death in 1962. Also includes a chronology and filmography, reproducing illustrations of some of her film posters
