Collection of B&W photographs of life in Hollywood in the early 1960s, taken by Barry Feinstein, and accompanied by 23 prose poems written by Bob Dylan in 1964. Dylan and Feinstein had worked and travelled together, and the photographs provided the inspiration for Dylan's writing. Scenes depicted include Marilyn Monroe's swimming pool on the day of her death, the funeral of Gary Cooper, actors and actresses at work and during auditions, views of Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood studios. There are brief interviews with both Dylan and Feinstein at the start of the book.
