'Centenary of the Cinema 1896-1996' first day cover, consisting of an envelope bearing a colour impression of a movie camera, an official Leicester Square, London 16th April 1996 stamp using the same design, a postage stamp of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh in 'That Hamilton Woman' (1941) alongside the words '100 years of going to the pictures' and the signature of actor Jean Paul Belmondo. The envelope, which has a piece of stiffening card inside, is marked 'Certified Copy No. 20 of 30' and 'Special Flown Cover' having been franked with details of a round trip by British Airways Concorde to and from London Heathrow.
