"Tomorrow may be too late, neighbourhoods change so quickly nowadays" - Postcard

A postcard featuring an illustration by Jack B. Yeats produced in 1911. The image itself features an older gentleman reacting in surprise to a newly opened cinema on a town street. The cinema is depicted covered in lights, adorned by flags and guarded by a porter at the front. The marquee over the top reads: 'See Our Cinema'. A caption below reads: 'Tomorrow may be too late, neighbourhoods change so quickly nowadays'. The back side of the postcard features a handwritten note addressed to Phil Wickham (curator of the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum) from Lucca Vaccari (former work experience student).
