Facsimile set of 'Cries of London' playing cards, reproducing a set first published by John Kirk ca. 1754. Each card carries a picture of a London seller with their distinctive 'cry' advertising the wares or services they were offering. The cards were reproduced from the collection of the Guildhall Library in London, with an introductory note by Ralph Hyde.
