Film tie-in edition of the book by Eric Lomax about his experiences as a prisoner of war of the Japanese who is forced to work on the Burma-Siam railway and subsequently met and forgave his torturer. The story was made into a 2014 film, directed by Jonathan Teplitzky and starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman, who are pictured on the front cover while the rear carries a brief plot synopsis and credits.
