A set of four postcards from the Derek Jarman Collection in the BFI National Archive, which celebrates the filmmaker Derek Jarman (1942-1994). They are part of the Volume 1 collection which spans between 1972-1986. Each postcard features a black and white illustration part of a series of costume designs by Christopher Hobbs, which were incorporated into Derek Jarman's 1978 production of Jubilee. The figures shown on the postcards include Doctor John Dee, Gloriana, Ariel and 'a young courtier' and featured alongside the figures are detailed descriptions regarding the costumes.
