Sheet music for the song 'Cinders' inspired by the 1926 British silent comedy film 'Cinders' and it's star, Betty Balfour. Directed by Louis Mercanton, the film revolves around Balfour's character, who loses her job as a servant in a London boarding house and accompanies one of its lodgers to his casino in the French Riviera. The sheet music, produced by Worton David Ltd, depicts Balfour in three different costumes on the front cover; the first as a servant, the second (and largest) in a close-up of her in a white-collared dress, and the third with two (what appears to be) saws. The reverse contains advertisements for other sheet music by Worton David Ltd. The words and music are by Billy Sunday and Roy York.
