A film still from surrealist, Czech-New Wave film "Daisies (Sedmikrásky)" (1966). The still is in black and white though the film was in mixed black and white and colour. The photograph is of Ivana Karbanová as Marie II holding a bottle of wine. She is smiling, covered in food and holding a flower crown. "Daisies" was directed by Vera Chytilova and has been embraced as an important feminist film. Despite winning an award for Best Czechoslovak movie of 1966 from The Czech Film and Television Union, the film was censored and pulled from many Czech cinemas after being criticized by a Communist politician.
