Danish Pressbook for 'The Lure of London' (1914)

Danish pressbook for the 1914 British silent film 'The Lure of London' (Forsvunden i London), directed by Bert Haldane. The film is based on the play of the same title by Arthur Applin. The front cover of the pressbook notes that the film is in 4 acts (Skuespil i 4 Akter) 120 departments (120 Afdelinger) and is 'extremely exciting' (Overordentlig spændende). The inside of the front cover features a large box, presenting Ivy Close as the principle actress 'in the lead role' (i Hovedrollen), in bold capital letters. Inside, the pressbook includes a summary of the film's plot and 5 stills from the film.
