For this year's Grand Challenge on our digital futures a group of first year students created an online resource demonstrating the myriad ways in artefacts in the museum collection connect with each other across time. You can find their work here . The team started with our new sculpture and created a chain of links from pre-cinema devices to film star memorabilia. This project also features our first experiments with 3D scanning with the help of the digital humanities team using some of our Chaplin material. The students on the project were Arielle Woods, Aaron Wye and Lucy Annett with Becky Wilson, supervised by Annie Morasova.
