The new student displays curated by students on the third year Film Studies course 'British Screens' are now on display in the foyer of the Old Library Building which houses the The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum. The course is taught and convened by the museum's curator, Dr Phil Wickham, and covers the history of the moving image in Britain through the collections in the Museum. Students chose a theme and research artefcats, designing a display that makes an argument about British screen culture through the museum's artefacts. This year's exhibitions are on Social Realism (team members Claire Bowler, Clifford Roddy, Emily Hotine and Mei Ying Ling); British Blockbusters (Bethan Dee, Kit Martin-Kruck, Marte De Jong and Megan Mazzone-McDonnell) and British Cinema During the Second World War (Georgia Watt, Pria Rai, Stephen Szemelak and Tara Donnelly.
