Book discussing the controversy surrounding American actress Jane Fonda's visit to North Vietnam in 1972, by Henry Mark Holzer and Erika Holzer with a foreword by Col. George 'Bud' Day. The book argues that Fonda's anti-American, pro-North Vietnamese stance whilst visiting Hanoi could have led to her being found guilty of treason. The history of treason as a crime is explored in this context along with the government's decision not to take action against Fonda. The authors focus on the formation of Fonda's political beliefs and the reception of her anti-war propaganda by American POWs, servicemen and civilians. Includes the texts of Fonda's Hanoi broadcasts.
