Richly illustrated book, edited by Philip Brookman with contributions by Marta Braun, Andy Grundberg, Corey Keller and Rebecca Solnit, on the life and photography of Eadweard Muybridge, published to accompany an exhibition of his work at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC followed by Tate Britain and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2010-2011. The book includes a number of essays by different contributors, exploring Muybridge's photography in relation to themes such as the American landscape as well as detailed accounts of his technological innovations and projects.
