Stereocard showing a view of a picture gallery. A bench and statue are positioned in the centre of the room, and through an arch more rooms can be seen. This gives an effective three dimensional effect. This card is labelled View No. 34, and was part of a series of stereocards exclusively produced by the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company, led by William England. 350 stereo views of the exhibition were produced. These were sold to the public in boxed sets, and were also delivered to Queen Victoria so that she could experience the exhibition from her seclusion in mourning.
