Faux newspaper broadsheet advertising the 60th anniversary of the Odeon Exeter, four paged A2 paper. Inside there is a plethora of advertisements for local businesses including stills from many iconic films. There's also a promotion to win 4 free Odeon tickets by looking out for hidden ticket icons in the adverts, they appear in the ads for: David Cooper Watches, Chef's Corner Cafe, The Mortgage Shop, Elliott & Saunders Ltd. There's a small write up on the back page proclaiming that cinemas have "never been so popular!", and telling the tale of the Odeon Exeter. Opened with a £70,000 investment, opened August 30th 1937, first film shown was 'Charge of the Light Brigade' (1936), two smaller screens added in 1972, remodelled in 1986.
