A large brass stand, including a frame which can be tilted, suggesting that it was intended for a mirror rather than a lithophane. There is no candle holder or lithophane present. The frame could conceivably be adapted to take a very large (c. 12" x 10") lithophane plaque in portrait format though it is not obvious how this might be secured within the frame and the bolts/nuts of the pivot would certainly result in damage to a lithophane plaque.
