'It All Started with a Mouse' or 'tout est parti d'une souris' is a bound collection of colourful artwork from Disney's designers, who emigrated from old Europe. The collection includes images from Nathaniel Hawthorne, who depicts a Pegasus on the front cover of 'Wonderbook and Tanglewood Tales', which the description says appeared in both Fantasia and Hercules. There is a section on literary, musical, and film sources of inspiration, including Murnau's Faust (1926), which is visually reminiscent of a scene in Disney's Fantasia (1940). Indeed, the majority of this collection is inspiration and original artwork for Fantasia.
