The obituaries, drawn from The Times and The Daily Telegraph, include Jack Klugman, Charles Durning, Nagisa Oshima, Michael Winner, Stuart Freeborn, Petro Vlahos, Richard Briers, Bob Godfrey, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, Roger Ebert, Deanna Durbin, Ray Harryhausen and Bryan Forbes. One clipping, focusing on the 1963 John Sturges-directed film 'The Great Escape', refers to the role of Wing-Commander Robert Stanford-Tuck, father of donor Anthony Attard, in planning the escape.
