Photocopy of A Description of the Colosseum as reopened in 1845. With numerous illustrations and eight coloured sections of The Panorama of London. Catalogue includes a description of the Colosseum, chapter 4 on The Entrances and two black and white copies of sections of the panorama, one of which was colour tinted. Both illustrations depict the London landscape with views of bridges over the Thames (with labels) and the lantern of St Paul's Cathedral.
