The sepia photographs show a view from aboard HMS Royal Sovereign, looking out to the water where other boats can been seen in the distance. The scene also shows a number of sailors aboard HMS Royal Sovereign on the upper deck. Underneath the photographs is a description that states "Mouthpieces of the British Navy- on the Admiral's Flagship "Royal Sovereign," Coronation Review, Spithead, Eng." Printed on the left of the card is the name of the publisher Underwood & Underwood, and to the right is the trademark of Sun Sculpture.
