NFT Programme - February 2001

A publicity programme for the National Film Theatre for February 2001, featuring an image from 'The Player' on the front cover. The programme contains information about the NFT's film screenings and seasons for the month, which included the second part of the NFT's Robert Altman retrospective, featuring screenings of 'Beyond Therapy', 'The Player' and 'Short Cuts' as well as a selection of his work on television, a special re-release run of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', a short season of films directed by Errol Morris, and a selection of films celebrating the career of Gloria Grahame, including 'The Bad and the Beautiful', 'Crossfire' and 'In a Lonely Place'. Further highlights included the second part of the bfiTV100 programme, a series of 'Sunday Silent' screenings of films directed by Clarence Brown including 'The Eagle' and 'The Goose Woman', valentine's day screenings, special previews of 'First Person' and 'Best in Show', educational and junior events, and other films from the archive. The programme features screening times, synopses and photos for each of the individual titles as well as general venue and booking information. The programme also contains a fold-out calendar of the month's events and a flyer for the BFI Film and Television Handbook 2001.
