According to an online source, The Musee Grevin is a wax museum that was founded in 1882, inspired by Madame Tussauds which was founded in 1835 and named for its first artistic director, Alfred Grévin. This leaflet is a directory that lists and describes the wax figures displayed in different galleries in the museum. The wax figures are put into 6 categories including Panora of the History of France from Charlemagne to Napoleon the Third, which features historic figures such as Joan of Arc. A scene from one of Shakespeare's plays, Hamlet, is featured in The Theatre Around the World section. Wax figures of contemporary celebrities are also a highlight of the museum, here are some of them: Sophia Loren, Salvador Dali, and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
