This is a hand made Christmas card from the year 2011, from Shirley Temple collector Janet Mitchell to June Benstead. Inside the card is Mitchell's description of the image on the front: "Shirley and the troops 1940 - welcome home the troops today". Mitchell includes a note inside the card further explaining the composition of the image included on the front, informing that the Shirley Temple doll is a 1960's 12" vinyl by Ideal Doll Co, as well as a personal update on her own life. Mitchell informs Benstead that she is running out of space to keep Shirley Temple memorabilia.
