Dr Lisa Stead is Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Exeter. She has also previously taught at the University of East Anglia. She is the author of Off to the PIctures: Cinema-Going, Women's Writing and Movie Culture in Interwar Britain (Edinburgh University Press). Lisa was interviewed by museum volunteers Ria Yole-Smith and James Pearson and the podcast was edited by Alice Clements.
