We are proud to launch a new podcast series created by student museum volunteers Chloé Jarrett-Bell and Jessica Fulton. Every fortnight for the rest of the summer we will be launching a new episode Chloé and Jess have recorded in their series Bill Douglas Cinema Museum item histories, often interviewing academic experts here at the University of Exeter to find the stories behind the artefacts we hold here in the museum. In the first episode however Jess discusses film fan culture through our holdings of Britain's leading fan magazine from the 1910s to the beginning of the '60s, Picturegoer.
You can find the recordings below and on our You Tube channel. After all 8 episodes have been launched you can browse them all on the channel. The embedded version is best accessed through Chrome but you can also hear the podcast through other browsers here
