A critical examination, edited by Bruce D. Kurtz and with contributions by Bruce Hamilton, Geoffrey Blum and Dave Hickey, of the work of Andy Warhol, Walt Disney, and Keith Haring as an accompaniment to an exhibition of the three artists' works. The first section considers all three artists together and their collaborations with other artists, their roles as entertainers, mass media response, and mass production, as well as approaches in experiemental animation and art techniques. The book then takes each artist in turn to examine their art, processes, and influence. A catalogue of the exhibition is also included along with plates sampling each artist's work.
