Each card features a practical aspect of the film-making process with a painted illustration of the technique in action, with examples quoted as films such as 'Rome Express' and 'Channel Crossing'. Scenes include 'Dolly in Action' ; 'Recording Noise of Train'; "Microphone Boom'; 'making Fog' and 'projection background' but many aspects of technical production are covered. Gaunmont-British are credited for their collaboration in creating the series.
