Original version of Peter Bogdanovitch's 1968 study of John Ford published by Studio Vista. Includes an analysis of Ford's work and a transcript of an extended interview between the author and subject. Parts 2,3 and 4 are cuttings on Ford immediately following his death in August 1973. These are appreciations from the Guardian and Observer from Derek Malcolm and Tom Milne (undated) and a cutting (also from The Guardian) of Richard Avedon's photographic portrait of Ford. We also hold an updated version of Bogdanovitch's book (EXEBD 78900).
