Correspondence & presscuttings relating to Frederick Martin and his work as Publicity Director for Paramount

Folder containing eight items relating to Frederick L. Martin, Director of Publicity and Advertising for Famous Players, later Paramount Pictures. Two presscuttings ("The Cinema" n.d., "The Foreign Legion" November 1927), a typed letter signed by Sydney Baber (January 1914), four letters to Martin from J. C. Graham (January 1918 and February 1919), O. R. Geyer (January 1923), and Merian Cooper (February 1928), and a 3-page reprint of a speech given by Martin at the Paramount Convention in London, September 1926. The folder also includes a typed announcement of a forthcoming visit by a delegation of Soviet Film Workers to London in the mid/late 1960s; this contains short biographical details about Lev Kulidzhanov, Natalya Fateyva, Nina Menshikova and Vsevolod Sanaev.
