Scrap Book 1915

A scrapbook with eclectic pasted contents from the period 1908 -1919. This ranges from concert programmes from venues such as the Aolian Hall and the Queen's Hall; church services, largely in Wiltshire; cruises and sporting events; programme for the Cheltenham historical pageant in 1908; and theatre programmes featuring Herbert Beerbohm Tree in Shakespeare produvctions and 'Oliver Twist'. There is one programme from Maskeyyne and Devant's mysteries at St.George's hall in 1915, which features 'animated photographs'. The latter part of the book features programmes from a number of concerts for the military in the First World war , as qwell as a text dor 'A Call to War' issued by the diocese of Salisbury. The frontispiece is dated 27 June 1915 with the inscription 'Ruth A. Goddard from J.R.G'.
