Pressbook for The Intruder (1953)

Pressbook for the world premiere of Guy Hamilton's film 'The Intruder', starring Jack Hawkins, George Cole, and Dennis Price, on Thursday 15th October 1953. The film was screened under the patronage and in the presence of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, and all proceeds were donated to the Returned British Prisoners of War Association. The book opens with a portrait of His Royal Highness and includes advertisements from companies such as Marks & Spencer, Dry Fly Sherry, and North Thames Gas; the programme and order of events at the premiere, and the cast list including photographs.
