This is a black and white photographic film still for the silent film The Nth Commandment, also known as The Higher Law, directed by Frank Borzage. The still shows James Morrison as Harry Smith standing outside of a department store on a snowy evening. On the reverse of the image, some typed font reveals that it is Christmas Eve and Smith has just worked out that Colleen Moore's character has not worked at the department store. This film was based on The Nth Commandment, by Fannie Hurst, a well known novelist.
