Panorama photographer: Alfred H. Robinson

A selection of items relating to panorama photographer, Alfred H. Robinson. Included are 9 reproduction prints of panorama photographs taken by Robinson. They have been reproduced, potentially as postcards. The photos focus specifically on British beaches including Yarmouth, Redcar and Embleton and were all taken in 1910. On the reverse of one of these prints is a note to Ralph Hyde, wishing him luck with his panorama exhibition, Panoramania. Also included is an exhibition handbill, fronted with one of Robinson's photographs, which took place at Portfolio Gallery in 1991. The exhibition is entitled 'Pleasurable Pastimes'. Two more documents are included: the first includes a copy of one of Robinson's photographs with a short description, the second relates to the aforementioned exhibition.
