Lobby card for the 1967 American crime film, ‘Point Blank’. Directed by John Boorman, the film stars Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, Keenan Wynn and Carroll O’Connor. It is adapted from the 1963 crime noir pulp novel ‘The Hunter’ by Donald E. Westlake (Richard Stark), and revolves around the story of Marvin’s character, Walker, who seeks retribution for the betrayal he experiences at the beginning of the film. The lobby card shows a still from a scene towards the end of the film, when Dickinson's character, Chris, aggressively lashes out at Walker, slapping and punching him whilst he stands there, impassive. The scene takes place in Chris' apartment, after Reese has been killed and shortly before Chris and Walker sleep together. In the still, both characters stand in profile, Chris with her hands on Walker's shoulders (probably mid-shove), whilst he looks down at her, stoic. The bottom of the lobby card notes the title of the film, the lead star, Marvin, and the distributor, Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer.
