Lobby card for the 1951 British crime film 'Calling Bulldog Drummond'. Directed by Victor Saville and starring Walter Pidgeon, Robert Beatty, Margaret Leighton and David Tomlinson, the film was based on the character 'Bulldog Drummond' created by Herman Cyril McNeile. The plot follows Drummond, who is called out of retirement by Scotland Yard, to infiltrate a ruthless London gang. The still on the lobby card shows five male characters sat in what appears to be the back of a van, Pidgeon possibly to the right and foreground of the frame. The man on the left and in the foreground is holding some sort of device which he is intently studying as he listens to it. The others in the shot are all watching this character intently. Townly has made some notes on the reverse of the lobby card, summarising the title, year of release, director, cinematographer and art director. The film was distributed by MGM.
